Job Description: Techno Commercial – Warehouse
The Techno Commercial – Warehouse role at Adani Group is an excellent opportunity for professionals with 2-4 years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in material management, warehouse operations, and ERP systems such as SAP. As part of our team, you will help ensure that the operations within the warehouse are aligned with best practices and contribute to the overall efficiency of Adani Group’s supply chain.
This position will require you to oversee the receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of materials, ensuring compliance with ISO, EMS, EHS, and OHSAS standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) and maintaining inventory accuracy, making this role crucial for the company’s operational success.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Material Accounting & Issuance:
- Ensure accurate accounting of materials, including receipt and issuance to manufacturing operations. This involves maintaining a precise record of stock and ensuring timely issuance of materials for production.

Warehouse Management & Safety:
- Manage safe handling and re-cycling of used packing materials in compliance with safety standards.
- Implement stringent sorting and storage processes as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain an organized warehouse.

ISO, EMS, EHS & OHSAS Compliance:
- Monitor and ensure adherence to Environmental Management Systems (EMS), ISO standards, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) protocols, and Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS). This ensures that all warehouse processes meet global safety and quality standards.

ERP / SAP Usage for Material Management:
- Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and SAP systems to streamline material management, track stock levels, and ensure real-time updates on inventory.

Shelf-Life Materials Management:
- Ensure proper storage and control of shelf-life materials, adhering to established norms to prevent spoilage and ensure material integrity.

Non-Conforming Material Disposal:
- Oversee the handling, disposal, and reporting of non-conforming materials received from production, ensuring compliance with quality control measures.

RGP Process & Timely Closure:
- Manage the RGP (Returnable Gate Pass) process and ensure that all related actions are carried out in a timely manner for efficient material returns.

Inventory Control & Techniques:
- Apply advanced inventory control techniques to optimize stock levels and minimize losses. Maintain a system for tracking material usage, stock rotation, and reorder levels.

Customer-Centric Approach:
- Ensure that all warehouse processes are designed to improve customer satisfaction. This includes timely deliveries, accurate order fulfillment, and a strong focus on quality.

Manpower Management:
- Manage warehouse manpower, ensuring efficient deployment of labor, compliance with safety standards, and the effective use of resources for optimal productivity.
Preferred Candidate Profile:

Education:
- UG: B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization (preferably related to Supply Chain, Operations, or Industrial Engineering).
- PG: MBA/PGDM in any specialization, with a preference for those focusing on Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Management.

Key Skills:
- Warehouse Management: Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, including material handling, storage, and dispatch processes.
- Contractor Management: Ability to manage external contractors, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality, and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Proven experience in managing inventory levels, implementing stock control systems, and conducting regular audits.
- ERP & SAP Proficiency: Hands-on experience in using ERP software (SAP preferred) for managing warehouse and inventory operations.
- Inward & Outward Material Handling: Expertise in managing both inward (receipt) and outward (dispatch) materials efficiently.
- Billing & Documentation: Experience with billing processes, including the accurate documentation of all material transactions.
- TQM & JIT: Knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM), Just in Time (JIT) manufacturing principles, and 5S methodology.
- Customer Focus: Strong orientation towards ensuring that the warehouse operations are customer-centric, improving delivery and service times.
