Job Role & Responsibilities

The Citizen Service Executive (CSE) will be responsible for handling various operational tasks and customer service activities in a non-technical role. As part of the e-Governance project, your main duties will include:

  • Customer Assistance: Act as a key contact point for customers, assisting them in their e-governance-related queries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Document Verification: Handle and verify documents, ensuring they meet the necessary criteria for processing.
  • Typing and Data Entry: Accurately input customer information into systems and maintain data integrity.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with customers both in person and over the phone, offering a professional and customer-friendly experience.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks as needed for smooth operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with a team to achieve departmental goals and meet organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers to guide them through the e-Governance process
  • Ensure smooth document verification procedures
  • Handle customer queries, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions
  • Maintain accurate and updated data records
  • Operate computer systems and handle required documentation

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Required Degrees:
    • BA, BBA, BBM, B.Com, B.Sc., BCA
    • Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in their education.

Skills & Experience

  • Freshers preferred (2023 & 2024 graduates)
  • Good Communication Skills in English and regional languages.
  • Customer Service Skills: Must have good interpersonal and customer handling abilities.
  • Computer Skills: Should be proficient in computer usage and basic software (MS Office, etc.).
  • Typing Skills: Accuracy and speed are essential for data entry and document handling.
  • No more than 2 years gap in education or employment history.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates from a non-technical background only (BE, B.Tech, M.Tech, and MCA candidates are not eligible).
  • Full-time courses only are considered.
  • Applicants who have attended interviews with TCS in the past 6 months should not apply.
