Job Overview

We are seeking an Account Executive for our SMB Team Sales in the Philadelphia, Bucks, and Mercer Counties area. This role is designed for highly motivated sales professionals with a passion for building customer relationships and bringing T-Mobile’s superior products and services to small and medium-sized businesses (1-299 employees). The ideal candidate thrives in a hunter role, focused on acquiring new accounts and achieving monthly sales goals.

You will be responsible for prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads while demonstrating the value of T-Mobile’s solutions. This position provides an opportunity to develop key sales skills and move into the next level Account Executive, SMB sales role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation
    • Identify and generate new business leads through prospecting, cold-calling, and networking under the guidance of your sales manager.
    • Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and recommend customized solutions.
  2. Customer Needs Analysis
    • Use solution-based selling techniques to present T-Mobile products, including price plans, data services, handsets, and accessories.
    • Tailor solutions based on customer needs to close deals and drive sales growth.
  3. Deal Negotiation and Closing
    • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring win-win agreements for both the client and T-Mobile.
    • Utilize effective negotiation and communication skills to manage objections and finalize contracts.
  4. Skill Development
    • Participate in product training, sales meetings, and professional development opportunities.
    • Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management while receiving guidance from leadership.
  5. Sales Automation & Reporting
    • Utilize Salesforce and other CRM tools to manage leads, track sales progress, and forecast sales activities.
    • Provide regular reports on sales activities and outcomes to management.
  6. Customer Base Management
    • Maintain and grow the customer base within the assigned territory, ensuring long-term satisfaction and repeat business.

Education & Experience

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience:
    • 1+ years of new customer acquisition sales experience in a commissioned environment (preferred).
    • Prior outside B2B sales experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Task Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Customer Service: Proven track record of delivering superior customer service with great attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of building relationships with diverse clients.
  • Negotiation: Expertise in closing deals with a focus on negotiation, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving.
  • Cold Calling: Ability to cold call and door-knock to generate leads (preferred).
  • CRM Tools: Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce to manage customer relationships and sales processes.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Driver’s License (Required)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation

  • Total Target Cash Pay Range: $71,800 – $129,400 (inclusive of target incentives)
  • Base Pay Range: $43,080 – $77,640
    • Actual pay will be based on various factors including work location, qualifications, and experience.
