Senior Website Product Specialist in AbbVie

Location: Mettawa, IL

Responsibilities in this company:

Website Strategy & Leadership in the company

  • Lead the digital vision across all AbbVie Product Solutions (APS) websites.
  • Own the website roadmap—from planning to execution of plans.
  • Launch pilot programs and introduce new workflows in the team.
  • Support and manage a team of passionate web professionals to reassure the work.
  • Drive changes in the management to implement efficient new processes of the company.

Cross-Functional Collaboration in the company

  • Collaborate with Marketing, IT, Analytics, and agency teams to increase work flow.
  • Act as the mediator between stakeholders for ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Facilitate workshops and solve digital pain points together in the team.
  • Guide agency partners through which they evolve processes with clarity and purpose.

Website & Platform Optimization in the company

  • Be our go-to Subject Matter Expert (SME) on SEO, tagging, analytics, and personalization.
  • Improve site performance, speed, and stability.
  • Build and refine workflows, playbooks, and governance models.
  • Use data and insights to inform smart decisions that drive business goals.

Product Management & Innovation in the company

  • Lead product life cycles—from brainstorming to retirement.
  • Prioritize releases based on need and long-term goals.
  • Support new launches and continuous enhancements.
  • Promote a test-and-learn approach to digital product growth.

Technical Skills & Tools in the company

  • Work with Adobe Experience Cloud (AEM, Target, Analytics, AAM/AEP).
  • Use tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, and Jira to manage projects.
  • Embrace mobile-first design, agile principles, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance on technical aspects like tagging, APIs, and personalization logic.

Qualifications and Experience needed in this company:

Required:

  • 10+ years of full experience in digital product management or similar field.
  • Strong command of Adobe Experience Cloud and CMS platforms skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO, site analytics, A/B testing, and user experience in past companies.
  • Hands-on experience from past companies with agile methodologies and multivariate testing.
  • Excellent communication skills for both spoken and written—you can simplify the complex and rally teams in this company.
  • A strategic mindset of employee: able to adjust juggle multiple priorities and align with business goals to the company.
  • Sharp analytical skills must have in employees and don’t just look at data, you have to act on it.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with pilot design and launch must have.
  • Familiar with different tools like Visio and Smartsheet.
  • Prior understanding of privacy, regulatory, and compliance in pharma marketing to comply with the regulations.
  • Passion for UX and digital innovation trainings.
