💼 Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant – Transfer Pricing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping international tax strategies and addressing complex pricing challenges. Your responsibilities include:
🌐 Strategic Consulting & Client Engagement
- Work in tandem with economists, tax attorneys, and business professionals to solve global transfer pricing issues.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of client businesses, industry landscapes, and cross-border structures.
- Design pricing models that align with both regulatory requirements and business strategy.
📊 Financial Analysis & Economic Research
- Conduct rigorous economic and financial analyses, including the use of proprietary modeling tools.
- Perform database benchmarking to compare intercompany transactions with third-party pricing standards.
- Leverage quantitative methods to develop defensible transfer pricing documentation.
📝 Reporting & Documentation
- Draft proposals, presentation materials, economic reports, and document requests.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant deliverables tailored to client needs and audit requirements.
👥 Mentoring & Team Collaboration
- Supervise, guide, and mentor junior Tax Consultants.
- Support the ongoing training and development of team members.
- Foster a collaborative work environment that values diverse perspectives and continuous learning.
📚 Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following core requirements:
- Hybrid Work Commitment: Ability to work 2–3 days per week in-person (based on location).
- Work Experience: Minimum 3+ years in consulting, business, or academic settings related to economics, tax, finance, or transfer pricing.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in one of the following:
- Economics
- Finance
- Business Administration
- Mathematics/Statistics
- Public Policy
- Engineering (with quantitative emphasis)
- Certifications/Accreditations: At least one of the following (in-process or obtained):
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- Licensed Attorney
- Enrolled Agent (IRS)
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 25% depending on project demands.

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable and will strengthen your application:
- Prior Big 4 experience or work in a transfer pricing consulting capacity.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Proven ability to work independently and within collaborative teams.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines.
💰 Compensation and Benefits
💸 Salary Range
The estimated base salary range for this position is:
$69,930 – $159,120 per year
This range is influenced by a variety of factors, including:
- Location-specific cost-of-living differentials
- Candidate’s experience and skillset
- Certifications and education
- Market conditions
💡 Note: Most new hires are not placed at the top of the range.
