Your Role as a Data Analyst

As a Remote Data Analyst, you will monitor real-time data streams collected from our intelligent grid sensors. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze, interpret, and escalate anomalous grid activity to prevent electrical hazards.

Key Responsibilities for Gridware:

✔️ Monitor and Analyze Real-Time Data: Track live data from field sensors and promptly respond to alerts.

✔️ Anomaly Detection: Identify unusual patterns, system faults, and safety risks using advanced analytics techniques.

✔️ Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Systematically investigate, analyze, and localize faults with precision and minimal error.

✔️ Collaborate with Supervisors: Work closely with operational leads on ad-hoc data requests, reporting findings, and supporting investigations.

✔️ Ensure Data Accuracy: Maintain high accuracy in event classification, pattern recognition, and reporting.

✔️ Incident Reporting: Escalate critical issues to relevant stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.

✔️ Maintain Operational Efficiency: Work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, ensuring grid stability through continuous monitoring.

✔️ Adaptability to Shifts: Be flexible with work schedules, including night shifts and weekends, to ensure continuous operations.

Minimum Requirements in Gridware:

🎓 STEM Degree: A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is required.

🗣️ Strong English Communication: Ability to efficiently report and communicate findings in English.

📊 Basic Understanding of Data Analytics: Familiarity with data analysis, pattern recognition, and anomaly detection.

Fast-Paced Problem Solver: Ability to quickly interpret large datasets and identify trends.

💡 Highly Motivated & Proactive: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

🌙 Shift Flexibility: Willing to work night shifts and weekends to support 24/7 operations.

🕒 Full-Time Commitment: Must be available for a 40-hour workweek.

Preferred Qualifications in Gridware (Bonus Skills):

🐍 Basic Python Proficiency: Experience with Python programming for data analysis.

🔬 Research Experience: Preferably in STEM fields.

📊 Metadata & Data Annotation Experience: Hands-on experience with annotating datasets or working with metadata.
