About the Role: Finance Helpdesk Specialist

As a Finance Helpdesk Specialist, you will be a critical part of PwC’s Customer Service and Experience Team, providing financial support and ensuring smooth operations within the firm. This role is best suited for professionals who have a strong financial background and a customer-centric mindset.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage financial queries using ServiceNow, ensuring that all requests are handled efficiently and professionally. If you have experience in financial operations, accounting, or finance-related helpdesk roles, this could be a perfect fit!

Key Responsibilities 📊

  1. Service Request Fulfillment 🛠️

    • Process finance-related service requests submitted by end-users via ServiceNow.
    • Follow predefined workflows to fulfill requests quickly and accurately within established SLAs.
    • Provide guidance to employees on how to submit requests efficiently and utilize self-service features.
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements while handling service requests.
  1. Customer Support & Issue Resolution 🔧

    • Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening, empathizing, and providing clear resolutions.
    • Address queries related to accounts payable, receivables, reconciliations, and invoice processing.
    • Manage expectations regarding issue resolution timeframes and provide alternative solutions when necessary.
    • Escalate complex issues to senior finance specialists and follow up until resolution.
  1. Financial Reporting & Documentation 📝

    • Maintain accurate records of interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ServiceNow knowledge base.
    • Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, including updating FAQs and best practice guides.
    • Ensure all financial documents are managed in compliance with internal controls and audit policies.

    • Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to streamline finance operations.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in finance helpdesk, customer service, or financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow, financial queries management, and helpdesk support.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in financial risk management and compliance.
