Your Mission as a Principal Data Scientist at Salesforce:
You will collaborate and worked with different teams like; Product, Design, Engineering, and Executives to Gain Understanding about the whole process of this company. Different aspects to fulfil the mission as follows:
• Examine consumer interaction trends and how people utilize the Slack product.
• Examine how the team will succeed and what not to be done by any employee which will become threat to the data. Make Product Decisions about which should be produced or which not.
• Perform core evaluations to guide the strategic development of products in the company.
• Establish success process which may take it to another level and suggest product changes in response to findings of analysis.
Showcase Your Knowledge
• Serve as a domain expert in data science best practices and product analytics
• Supervise data scientists and spearhead strategic data programs among teams
Influence Top Management
• Convey intricate data to senior stakeholders in clear, compelling language.
• Provide scalable, actionable insights to inform choices made across Salesforce
Key Responsibilities in this company:
Here’s what you will do as part of the Data Science team:
- Employ advanced data science methods to evaluate product performance and guide roadmap decisions to extract result.
- Define, measure, and monitor KPIs for Slack’s business and product success to the team.
- Guide leadership using predictive and prescriptive analytics of work.
- Collaborate across various multiple product areas to synthesize insights and find causal relationships between client and business.
- Promote a good culture of experiment, hypothesis testing, and continuous improvement in the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data science or analytics for same filed
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with good percentage (e.g., Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economics)
- Proficient in data science programming tools (e.g., Python, R)
- Strong background in large-scale data systems like Spark, Hive, Hadoop, Presto
Preferred Qualifications
- Advance degree (MS or PhD) in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field with good knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning and statistical modelling for more advancement.
- Experience in building both descriptive and predictive models in best way
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills with executive-level audiences
- Demonstrated experience influencing strategic decisions at a corporate level
- High-level collaboration and leadership skills in cross-functional environments

Base Salary Range
- California & New York: $230,800 – $334,600
- Illinois & Washington: $211,500 – $306,600
- Colorado: $192,200 – $278,600
