About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development & Optimization
- Develop and maintain high-quality, user-friendly frontend applications.
- Optimize UI/UX for an intuitive customer experience.
- Work with JavaScript, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks.

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
- Analyze complex production issues, quickly identifying and resolving them.
- Collaborate with backend teams to enhance frontend-backend integrations.
- Perform root cause analysis for system errors and propose solutions.

Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning meetings.
- Maintain effective communication with global teams and stakeholders.

- Implement monitoring tools to track frontend performance.
- Work on security best practices to protect customer data.
- Ensure frontend applications comply with industry standards and PayPal’s security policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GraphQL, Webpack, Babel, and Redux.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Exposure to Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of backend development (Node.js, Express.js) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a fintech or payment solutions company is advantageous.
