🎯 Role Overview

As a Specialist – HR Service Delivery at MetLife, you will be responsible for managing the onboarding, induction, background verification (BGV), and employee wellness activities for new joiners. This role will require you to enhance the employee experience from the moment they join MetLife, ensuring a seamless integration into the company. You’ll also manage vendor relationships and track the effectiveness of HR activities through data-driven insights and continuous improvement.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

🧩 Onboarding & Induction:

  • Manage and enhance the new joiner onboarding experience, ensuring smooth transitions for employees joining the company.
  • Oversee the induction process, ensuring that new employees are effectively introduced to MetLife’s culture, policies, and processes.
  • Execute background verification (BGV) procedures as per company guidelines.

📊 Data Analytics & Reporting:

  • Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of onboarding, induction, and wellness activities.
  • Periodically report metrics to stakeholders, highlighting the success and areas for improvement in HR functions.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify trends and generate insights for continuous process improvement.

🤝 Vendor Management:

  • Take charge of vendor management for HR-related activities, including contracting, budgeting, and renewals.
  • Monitor and manage vendor SLAs (Service Level Agreements) to ensure compliance with agreed standards.
  • Ensure all vendor contracts are cost-effective and meet the business needs of MetLife.

🌱 Employee Wellness & Process Improvement:

  • Research, design, and implement wellness activities to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Identify non-value-added activities and work on process improvements to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.

📑 Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, and Operations) to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Provide stakeholder updates on progress, challenges, and achievements.

📋 Qualifications

🔑 Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of experience in HR service delivery, HR operations, or employee experience management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, including onboarding, employee wellness, and background verification.
  • Excellent skills in data analytics and the ability to derive insights for process improvement.
