🌍 About the Role: Your Impact
In this leadership role, you will co-lead the North America (NA) region of McKinsey’s Optimize Travel function in partnership with the NA Regional Travel Manager. You’ll contribute to the overall strategy for corporate travel and optimize service delivery while ensuring alignment with global standards and local stakeholder needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional travel strategies in sync with global Optimize Travel leadership
- Streamline travel processes to reduce operational costs and inefficiencies
- Drive high-quality service delivery and ensure travel policy compliance
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Manage service-level agreements and foster collaboration with the Travel Management Company (TMC)
- Lead issue resolution and policy refinement, in partnership with finance, tax, and procurement teams
- Strengthen supplier relationships for airlines, hotels, and car rentals, ensuring service optimization and compliance
🧠 Your Role in Strategy & Execution
You’ll be the strategic voice helping optimize one of the largest travel operations in the consulting industry. Your role bridges high-level travel policy development with on-the-ground issue resolution.
- Align global goals with regional needs
- Recommend policy/process enhancements based on data and experience
- Influence behavior toward greater travel policy adherence
- Ensure exceptional traveler experiences by identifying service and quality control issues

Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree or certifications preferred)
- 5+ years in corporate travel management (GDS knowledge is a plus)
- Proven track record of impact and operational excellence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a complex, global organization
- Demonstrated problem-solving and issue resolution skills
- Entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset
- High level of professional integrity and sound judgment
💵 Compensation & Benefits
We offer a highly competitive and transparent compensation package:
- Estimated Salary Range: $112,900 – $176,800 USD
- Bonuses may apply based on personal and organizational performance
