Job Responsibilities at Kalyan Jewellers

Bookkeeping & Financial Record Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other documentation.
- Record and classify financial transactions in compliance with standard accounting principles.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data and statements.

Bank Reconciliation & Financial Reporting
- Reconcile bank statements with company financial records.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Generate financial reports for management and stakeholders to support decision-making.

Budget Management & Cost Analysis
- Assist in the development and monitoring of company budgets.
- Track and analyze budget variances and provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency.
- Support cost-saving initiatives within the organization.

Tax Compliance & Regulatory Reporting
- Ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and other required documentation on time.
- Stay updated with the latest tax laws and amendments to ensure compliance.

Audit Support & Internal Controls
- Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
- Provide necessary documentation and clarifications to auditors.
- Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard financial assets.
- Identify and address control weaknesses to prevent financial discrepancies.

Payroll Processing & Employee Payments
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Maintain accurate records of employee salaries, deductions, and bonuses.

Financial Analysis & Decision Support
- Conduct financial analysis to support business growth and strategy.
- Provide insights into financial performance, profitability, and market trends.
- Assist in making informed financial decisions based on data-driven analysis.
Key Skills & Qualifications in Kalyan Jewellers
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Technical & Soft Skills:
- Proficiency in financial statements, reporting, and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
- Expertise in bank reconciliation and budget management.
- Experience with SAP, Tally, or other accounting software.
- Excellent Excel and data management skills.
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience: 1-4 years in an accounting role, preferably in the retail, jewellery, or financial sector.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the employer for this position).
