📌 Job Description – Finance Superintendent (Credits)
💡 As a Finance Superintendent – Credits, you will manage pricing updates, claims accounting, remittance tracking, sales return processing, and credit insurance operations.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
✅ Pricing & Discount Management
- Verify and update customer pricing and discounts in the system.
- Ensure accuracy in invoices, tax rates, and VAT amendments.
- Reconcile monthly invoices with marketing discount schemes.
✅ Claims Accounting & Budget Analysis
- Compare scheme/discount papers against actuals.
- Analyze and report budget vs. actual scheme discounts.
- Coordinate with accounts team for monthly provisions.
✅ IFOR (Internal Financial Operations & Reporting) Updating
- Verify and update IFOR limits.
- Prepare MC requests for limit approvals.
- Flag long-pending balances to marketing teams.
✅ Credit Insurance & Risk Management
- Monitor and report overdue customer payments.
- Ensure timely claim notifications to insurance companies.
- Track customer payment trends and risk exposure.
✅ Remittance & Cash Flow Tracking
- Ensure same-day remittance processing for payments received.
- Generate monthly collection reports for marketing teams.
✅ Sales Return Processing
- Validate returned goods against invoices.
- Ensure warehouse verification and proper documentation.
- Approve sales return value adjustments.
✅ New Selling Arrangement & Customer Setup
- Ensure new customer accounts are properly created.
- Verify necessary documents for new customers.
- Track changes in customer business structures.
✅ Balance Confirmation & Interest Charging
- Send balance confirmations to customers monthly.
- Follow up on pending confirmations with marketing.
- Charge interest on overdue balances and resolve disputes.
🛠 Skills & Qualifications Required
To succeed in this role, you should have:
✅ 1-3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Credit Management.
✅ Strong knowledge of SAP, GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Procurement & Costing.
✅ Experience in FMCG, Industrial Equipment, or Finance Operations.
✅ Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Financial Reporting.
✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

🔹 FMCG Finance Operations – Experience in handling claims, sales finance, and credit risk.
