Job Description – Teller
As a Teller at IndusInd Bank, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth handling of financial transactions. Your key responsibility will involve managing cash transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payments, while adhering to strict banking procedures and security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:

Cash Transactions Handling:
- Efficiently handle cash transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments while ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with banking regulations.
- Perform cash counting, cash balancing, and assist with daily reconciliation of cash balances.

Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues related to accounts, and guiding customers through banking procedures.
- Build strong relationships with customers and ensure a positive banking experience by promptly assisting with their needs.

Account Inquiries:
- Assist customers with inquiries related to account balances, transactions, and other banking services.
- Ensure customer queries are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.

Compliance and Security:
- Follow the bank’s security protocols to ensure all transactions are conducted securely and in compliance with established procedures.
- Safeguard the bank’s assets by ensuring that cash handling processes are followed rigorously.

Branch Operations Support:
- Support branch operations by ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, such as cash management, clearing operations, and fund transfers.
- Assist with retail banking activities, including cashier duties and cross-selling banking products.

Educational Qualifications:
- UG: Any Graduate
- PG: Any Postgraduate (preferred but not mandatory)
