👔 Position Overview: Relationship Manager – Small Business Banking (SBB)

Are you experienced in Working Capital, MSME Lending, or Small Business Banking? IndusInd Bank is seeking proactive and customer-focused Relationship Managers to manage and grow its Working Capital Portfolio for the Small Business Banking segment.

This is an individual contributor role where you’ll be the face of the bank for small business clients, managing new acquisitions and deepening relationships to offer comprehensive banking solutions.

🧭 Key Responsibilities

🔍 1. Client Acquisition & Business Development

  • Source New-To-Bank (NTB) clients through:
    • Branch referrals
    • Direct market sourcing
    • Client references
  • Acquire customers with Working Capital needs of ₹2–5 Crores.
  • Identify business opportunities across industries and build strong client pipelines.

📊 2. Revenue Generation & Cross-Selling

  • Achieve income targets through working capital product sales.
  • Cross-sell relevant financial products:
    • Business Loans
    • Trade Finance
    • Term Loans
    • SME Insurance
    • Commercial Cards
  • Maintain high wallet share through relationship expansion.

🤝 3. Portfolio Management

  • Handle existing portfolio relationships for renewals, enhancements, and cross-sell.
  • Conduct periodic credit and risk assessments of clients.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies, risk management protocols, and audit standards.

📈 4. Productivity & Compliance

  • Meet monthly productivity KPIs.
  • Ensure full adherence to internal systems, regulatory standards, and process norms.
  • Provide seamless customer service and support in transaction handling.

📌 Candidate Requirements

✅ Educational Qualifications

  • UG: Bachelor’s degree in any stream (Commerce, Finance, or Business preferred)
  • PG: Not mandatory but will be an added advantage

✅ Professional Experience

  • Minimum: 3 years of experience in:
    • Business Banking
    • Working Capital Loans
    • MSME Lending
    • Small Business Finance
  • Exposure to ECG, SME, BBG, or SBB segments is highly desirable.

✅ Skill Set

  • Strong local market knowledge
  • Client relationship management
  • Business development and lead generation
  • Understanding of financial products, lending cycles, and credit evaluation
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
