Role: Junior Software Engineer
Job Description
Indegene is seeking a highly motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about software development, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to cutting-edge healthcare solutions. This role will involve backend development, data security, regulatory compliance, and software testing to ensure high-quality solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Backend Development: Develop, test, and maintain backend systems for healthcare applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Clinical Data Integration: Work with clinical data and apply regulatory compliance standards to software solutions.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices to handle sensitive healthcare information while ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.
- Software Testing & Debugging: Collaborate with the development team to perform rigorous software testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to integrate new features and improve existing systems.
- Technical Support: Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and providing technical support to resolve application issues.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
