As a Field Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in advocating Google Cloud Platform’s capabilities to prospective customers. You will work closely with businesses to help them navigate their digital transformation journeys, offering innovative solutions to enhance productivity and drive success.
Job Overview
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of relevant sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products and platforms.
- Strong experience in direct client sales and account management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with customer relationship management and cloud-based technology platforms.
- Background in the mid-market segment (corporate) working with digital-native target accounts.
- Ability to work towards strategic business goals in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage developer audiences as well as C-level IT and business leaders.
Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain executive relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Identify client needs and provide strategic cloud solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring seamless integration of Google Cloud services within customer environments.

Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Lead account strategy efforts to generate and develop business growth opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Cloud partners to maximize business impact and revenue generation.
- Understand market trends, competitor offerings, and industry challenges to position Google Cloud as the preferred choice.

Technology Consultation & Solution Selling
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations showcasing Google Cloud’s capabilities.
- Educate customers on cloud migration strategies, data security, cost optimization, and scalability benefits.
- Translate technical concepts into business value, making cloud adoption an easy decision for customers.

Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track and analyze sales performance, forecasting revenue accurately to meet strategic objectives.
- Utilize CRM and analytics tools to manage pipeline, customer engagement, and deal progression.
- Provide data-driven insights to optimize sales processes and enhance customer experience.
