🧾 Job Overview: Gold Loan Executive
As a Gold Loan Executive at HDB Financial Services, you will play a critical role in facilitating smooth gold loan processes, from valuation to disbursal and customer relationship management. This is a front-line role with high visibility and potential for growth.
📋 Key Responsibilities
🎯 Sales & Lead Management
- Coordinate with branch sales team and support Branch Sales Manager (BSM) and Sales Managers (SMs) for converting leads into successful loan applications.
- Conduct tele-calling and follow-ups on leads shared by the corporate office or branch team.
- Educate walk-in customers on product offerings and recommend the most suitable scheme after thorough need analysis.
🏅 Gold Valuation & Loan Processing
- Conduct initial gold valuation independently.
- Coordinate with external valuators, ensuring accurate evaluation and adherence to standard procedures.
- Enter gold valuation data into internal systems such as the Gold Portal and Loan Booking System.
- Ensure timely and accurate loan disbursement in compliance with TAT (Turn-Around Time) norms.
📁 File Management & Documentation
- Maintain all records of gold packets under custody, ensuring secure storage and logging as per the defined process.
- Prepare and send completed loan files to Central Operations (COPS).
- Assist in managing MIS and ensure interface coordination with COPS and regional teams.
🧾 Customer Service & Collections
- Follow up with customers for EMI payments and interest collection to avoid overdue accounts.
- Ensure that borrowers do not cross the 30 Days Past Due (DPD) bucket.
- Work closely with the central telecalling team for recovery efforts.

🎓 Educational Qualifications
- Graduate in any stream from a recognized university.
💼 Work Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in Gold Loan Operations, preferably with NBFCs.
- Experience in collections and auction processes is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on exposure to gold appraisal and valuation processes is mandatory.
🧠 Skills Required
- Strong understanding of gold loan operations and sales cycle.
- Excellent KYC knowledge, process documentation, and compliance awareness.
- Proficient in handling BTL marketing, understanding customer psyche, and cross-selling.
