Genpact is inviting skilled and proactive professionals to join its IT team as a Database Administrator (DBA) based out of Green Bay, Wisconsin. This is a 100% onsite role, ideal for candidates passionate about optimizing, maintaining, and innovating within enterprise-grade database environments.

If you’re an experienced SQL Server and Oracle DBA, with cloud (AWS) proficiency and a passion for performance tuning and automation, this role is for you.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

As a Database Administrator at Genpact, you will:

🛠️ Database Management

  • Administer, configure, and manage SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and AWS-hosted databases like DynamoDB
  • Optimize database performance, implement indexing strategies, and monitor workloads

📈 Performance Optimization

  • Write and fine-tune SQL queries
  • Optimize data pipelines, ensure high availability and performance
  • Manage clustering and replication strategies

🔐 Security & Compliance

  • Implement and enforce database security policies
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness

📄 Documentation & Collaboration

  • Maintain clear documentation for data models, schemas, and operational procedures
  • Work closely with development teams to implement new features

🧰 Automation & Scripting

  • Use PowerShell for task automation
  • Create scripts for backup, restore, and maintenance tasks

🛠️ Tools & Technologies

  • Database Platforms: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Snowflake

📌 Key Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

  • Minimum 4–8 years of experience in Database Administration
  • Strong command of SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
  • Working knowledge of AWS cloud services, especially DynamoDB and RDS
  • Proficiency with Visual Studio, Terraform, Jira/Confluence
  • Experience in database design, indexing, query tuning, and troubleshooting

🎓 Educational & Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Certified Database Administrator in any of the following:
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • Oracle DBA Certification
    • AWS Certified Database – Specialty (preferred but not mandatory)
