The Finance Management Specialist at Deloitte will work directly with senior leaders to optimize financial performance and ensure strategic execution of accounting practices. You will be deeply involved in budgeting, cost analysis, reporting, and high-level decision-making, contributing to the financial integrity and mission effectiveness of public sector clients.

As a Finance Management Specialist, your tasks will include:

Strategic Financial Advisory:
Guide senior leadership in creating or updating financial policies and funding strategies.

Cost-Benefit Analysis:
Evaluate and justify funding decisions through deep-dive financial analysis and forecasting.

Financial Oversight:
Monitor accounting operations, budgeting cycles, and performance metrics for accuracy and compliance.

Reporting & Data Analysis:
Compile and present clear and actionable financial reports, listings, and data insights.

Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities for automation and improved financial controls within the enterprise.
🛠️ Required Skills and Experience
To thrive in this role, you’ll need the following:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, policy development, or accounting within a professional setting
- Active TS/SCI Clearance (mandatory for consideration)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Exceptional analytical and reporting capabilities
- Knowledge of federal or public sector budgeting processes
- Experience with enterprise financial systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

- TS/SCI with Polygraph – strongly preferred
- Advanced certifications such as CPA, CFA, CGFM, or PMP
