Join Deloitte’s finance team and play a pivotal role in managing financial reporting, compliance, and reconciliation processes. As a Senior Associate/Associate, you will serve as a vital link between internal stakeholders, accounting systems, and business units.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Intercompany Activities

  • Record and manage intercompany transactions accurately.
  • Ensure the elimination of intercompany transactions during consolidation.
  • Resolve discrepancies and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  1. Month-End and Year-End Reporting

  • Participate in month-end and year-end closings.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with internal and external reporting standards.
  1. General Ledger (GL) Period-End Activities

  • Execute GL period-end close tasks.
  • Prepare journal entries and perform ledger reconciliations.
  • Maintain accuracy of financial records in accounting systems.
  1. Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliation

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Identify and rectify differences between bank statements and GL.
  • Conduct balance sheet (BS) reconciliations for key accounts.
  1. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports.
  • Provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting cycles.
  1. Business Unit Support

  • Offer financial accounting support to various business units (BUs).
  • Work with internal teams to improve accounting processes.
  • Address BU-specific financial queries and challenges.
  1. Treasury Accounting

  • Manage treasury revaluation and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant recording of treasury transactions.
  • Coordinate between treasury systems and accounting platforms.
  1. Fixed Asset Accounting

  • Handle asset acquisition, disposal, and depreciation.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and standards.
  • Maintain a fixed asset register and ensure accurate financial representation.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis
  • Experience with intercompany transactions, GL, treasury, and fixed assets
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
