🎯 Role Overview:
As a Commercial Property Manager (also referred to internally as Real Estate and Customer Experience Manager), you’ll join our Customer Experience Team (CET) managing 2 million+ square feet of industrial buildings in Baltimore Central, part of the Baltimore/DC Market.
You’ll be a strategic partner, problem-solver, and relationship builder, ensuring the best-in-class experience for major logistics and e-commerce clients.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
🧩 Day-to-Day Operations:
- Manage the daily operations of assigned industrial properties
- Oversee rent collection, regulatory compliance, and maintenance
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA, cleanliness, and safety standards
🤝 Customer Experience & Relations:
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants in your portfolio
- Build trusted relationships by understanding their business models
- Ensure seamless operational support through proactive communication and problem-solving
📊 Business Strategy & Optimization:
- Develop and implement property performance strategies
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and technology use
- Utilize tools like Salesforce CRM for customer interactions
🌱 Sustainability & Innovation:
- Champion renewable energy projects and environmental compliance
- Encourage green practices and efficiency upgrades at the property level
👥 Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of 2: one Maintenance Technician and one Administrative Personnel
- Drive innovation, pilot new ideas, and foster a culture of excellence
📋 Qualifications
🔑 Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years in commercial or industrial property management
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; real estate, business, or similar fields
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Maryland Real Estate Sales License within 6 months
(Company covers cost & counts it toward work hours)
🧠 Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM & Microsoft Office
- Experience in CAM reconciliations, budgeting, and variance reporting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Capable of adapting to new company initiatives and market changes
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities
