π About the Role: Safety, Environmental & Security Specialist
As an SES Specialist at Coca-Cola, you’ll be at the forefront of safeguarding our workplace, workforce, and environmental footprint. From developing compliance frameworks to conducting safety assessments, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of workplace safety and environmental sustainability at one of the most iconic companies in the world.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
π Safety & Security Leadership
- Lead the charge in championing safety, sustainability, and governance initiatives across the facility.
- Promote a strong safety culture through GEMBA walks, audits, and behavior-based observations.
- Support Process Safety Management (PSM) and ensure compliance with OSHAβs requirements.
π§ͺ Risk Assessment & Compliance
- Facilitate risk assessments including FMEA, Environmental Aspects & Impacts, and Health & Safety Risks.
- Proactively address potential hazards through root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Lead or participate in incident investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.
π Training & Awareness
- Develop and deliver training programs for:
- π₯ New Hire Orientation
- π Annual Review
- π οΈ Specialized Training
- π§ Contractor Safety
- π Management Engagement
- Promote a learning culture that embraces continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
π Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain inspection logs, safety records, and program evaluations.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly safety performance reports.
- Analyze trends and support strategic decisions using statistical safety data.
β»οΈ Environmental Sustainability
- Implement and maintain ISO 14001, ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001, and OSHA VPP programs.
- Monitor wastewater, emissions, and recycling programs to ensure environmental compliance.
- Act as an ambassador of sustainability, integrating environmental initiatives across departments.
π Emergency Preparedness
- Manage the medical response program and lead the emergency response team.
- Train associates on First Aid, Adult CPR, and emergency evacuation procedures.
π§ Required Skills & Qualifications
π Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Environmental Sciences
- Occupational Safety
- Engineering
- Or equivalent field experience in manufacturing
πΌ Experience
- 3β5 years of SES or EHS experience in large-scale manufacturing.
- Familiarity with food or beverage production is highly preferred.
π Core Skills
- In-depth knowledge of:
- OSHA regulations
- Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Industrial hygiene
- ISO 14001 & 45001 management systems
- Strong understanding of:
- Workplace hazard identification
- Environmental regulations
- Behavioral safety programs
- Advanced communication and documentation skills (technical writing, grammar, reporting)
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
π Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)
- π OSHA 511 Certification
- π· Licensed Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- π§ͺ Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
- πΏ Registered Environmental Manager (REM) or equivalent certification

π Work Environment
- Rotating across office, production floor, and outdoor settings
- Exposure to:
- High-speed bottling lines
- Ammonia refrigeration
- Beverage blending units
- Industrial wastewater systems
- Noise, temperature extremes, chemicals, and vibrations
πͺ Physical Demands
- Must be physically agile:
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Climb, kneel, bend, and twist
- Must be flexible to work various shifts, including potential night shifts and overtime

π° Salary Range:
$88,000 β $93,000 / Year
