What You’ll Do
As a Marketing and Sales Operations Specialist, you’ll be responsible for supporting Boeing’s USAF Bombers & Fighters, USAF Mobility & Training, and U.S. Army Services teams with various business operations, strategic financial oversight, and risk management tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Operations Support: Provide essential support for various development teams within BGS-G.
- Budget Oversight: Collaborate with stakeholders to define funding requirements, gain authorization, and perform weekly reconciliation of budget vs. actuals.
- Variance Analysis: Present actionable financial recommendations and insights.
- Chargeline Management: Maintain accuracy in the Exchange tool and oversee timely updates.
- Compliance Checkpoint: Serve as the first line of defense for funding source accuracy in coordination with Finance, Cost Policy, and others.
- Gate Reviews: Organize and manage gate and New Business Fund (NBF) reviews for process compliance.
- Tool Deployment: Act as the go-to person for business development tools, including Salesforce, IR&D Planner, and ESGP Tool.
- Payments Management: Monitor and approve payments through ARIBA and NO PO Tool systems.
- Company Contributions: Coordinate yearly contributions and in-year changes using the STAR tool.
- Special Projects: Support strategic ad hoc assignments based on evolving business needs.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Minimum 3 years of experience collaborating across various management levels and departments
- Strong skills in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in preparing and presenting complex information to senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent military experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in cross-functional project work
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with contracts, accounting, and compliance practices
- MBA or equivalent master’s degree (completed or in progress)
- Experience using Salesforce and tools like Tableau for analytics and reporting
