Position Overview:
The Sr. Relationship Officer – Home Loan Open Market is responsible for generating business and expanding Axis Bank’s customer base in the open market for home loans. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of home loan products and the ability to drive business growth through customer engagement and relationship-building. Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Customer Acquisition:
You will be responsible for generating new leads, onboarding customers, and expanding the customer base for Axis Bank’s Home Loan products. This includes identifying and engaging with potential customers in the open market, explaining the benefits of home loan products, and convincing them to choose Axis Bank for their financing needs.

Sales & Customer Relationship Management:
You will drive the sales of both secured and unsecured loans, including home loans and credit cards, through field sales activities. By building strong relationships with customers, you will ensure high sales conversions and retention rates, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage of the process.

Product Knowledge & Customer Education:
Your role will involve educating customers about the features, benefits, and eligibility requirements of various loan products. You will need to have a clear understanding of the loan products offered by Axis Bank and be able to explain them to potential customers in a simple and effective manner.

Achieving Sales Targets:
As a Relationship Officer, you will be responsible for achieving individual sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of the business. Your ability to meet and exceed targets will be key to earning substantial incentives and career advancement.

Market Exploration & Networking:
You will regularly visit market areas to network with potential clients and generate leads. Your ability to identify and tap into new business opportunities in the open market will help ensure continuous business growth.

Ensuring customer satisfaction is at the core of this role. You will need to follow up with customers throughout the loan process and maintain a positive relationship to enhance retention and encourage repeat business.

Documentation & Compliance:
You will be responsible for completing the necessary documentation for loan applications, ensuring that all compliance standards are met. This includes submitting accurate and complete documents required for loan processing and approval.

Reporting & Coordination:
Regular reporting of sales activities, lead generation status, and customer feedback will be part of your daily tasks. You will coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth processing of loans and resolve any issues customers may face.
Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Qualification:
A graduate in any field is required for this role. A background in finance or business will be an added advantage.

Experience:
A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in sales or the financial services industry is preferred. Candidates with experience in home loan sales or retail banking will have an edge.

Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of loan products, particularly home loans, and their processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good customer service approach with a focus on relationship building
- Ability to identify and leverage sales opportunities in the market
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply them effectively
- Knowledge of local language(s) is preferred; fluency in English will be an added advantage
- Proven sales ability and experience in achieving targets
- Motivated and target-driven individual with a passion for sales
- A two-wheeler is preferred for travel and field sales activities
