Key Responsibilities

As Manager II, Supply Chain, your primary responsibilities include:

Operations & Logistics Management

  • Oversee and optimize the daily freight movements in and out of Amazon’s EU and NA fulfillment centers.
  • Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met across all operations.
  • Monitor real-time logistics data and proactively address any supply chain inefficiencies.
  • Develop KPI-driven strategies to improve business results.
  • Continuously improve processes, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and manage a team of 150+ employees in a 24×7 operational environment.
  • Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their performance.
  • Drive employee engagement and ensure a positive workplace culture.

Data Analytics & Performance Monitoring

  • Use data mining, SQL queries, and Excel-based analytics to generate actionable insights.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for logistics inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Create and present weekly performance reports to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Maintain seamless communication with carriers, vendors, finance, tech teams, and fulfillment centers.
  • Propose software and tool improvements to enhance supply chain visibility.
  • Identify opportunities for business process re-engineering and lead cross-functional initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a data-driven, process-oriented, and proactive leader with a strong background in supply chain, logistics, and operations management.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, logistics, operations, or transportation.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale supply chain initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using SQL, Tableau, Excel (Pivot tables, Macros, VBA), and Microsoft Access.
  • Proven ability to execute high-impact strategies in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of transportation operations, manufacturing, and distribution environments.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, 24×7 shift-based roles, including weekends if necessary.
  • Excellent business judgment and strong verbal and written communication skills.
