Role Description: What You’ll Be Doing
As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial documentation, processing vendor invoices, maintaining master data, and supporting audits.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Master Management:
Create, modify, and deactivate vendor profiles in ERP systems based on approvals.Invoice Processing:
Validate and account for both operational (Opex) and capital (Capex) expenditures.Payment Cycles:
Prepare and manage payment batches in alignment with regular payment schedules.Advance Payment Reconciliation:
Validate advance payments and ensure correct entries in ledgers.Purchase Return Handling:
Validate and account for returned goods or services.MIS & Reporting:
Prepare management information system (MIS) reports, MSME filings, and support in TDS/GST returns.Helpdesk Management:
Resolve vendor and internal queries promptly through the Accounts Payable Helpdesk.Zoho Proficiency:
Preferred working knowledge of Zoho for invoice and vendor data management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline
- Accounting/Finance specialization preferred but not mandatory
Professional Experience
- 1 to 6 years in Accounts Payable / Vendor Management roles
- Exposure to invoice processing, GST compliance, TDS accounting, and audit handling
