💡 Role Overview: People Advisory Manager – People Team

As a People Advisory Manager on Visa’s Global People Advisors team, you’ll be instrumental in transforming HR delivery through strategic consultation, leadership coaching, and data-driven HR support.

This hybrid role is located in Austin, TX (or Atlanta, GA), with flexible in-office days as set by leadership.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

🧭 Strategic HR Advisory

  • Serve as a trusted HR business consultant to People Leaders on a wide range of issues including:
    • Talent development
    • Compensation reviews
    • Conflict resolution
    • Employee engagement
    • Talent planning and performance cycles
    • Policy consultation and interpretation

💬 Leadership Coaching & Development

  • Coach and train leaders to align with Visa’s Leadership Principles: Empathy, Inclusion, Agility, Collaboration, and Impact.
  • Empower managers with HR tools and knowledge to effectively lead teams and drive results.

📊 People Analytics & Reporting

  • Provide data interpretation and analytics for informed business decisions.
  • Monitor KPIs and success metrics related to people programs and team effectiveness.
  • Ensure operational excellence in reporting, metrics, and compliance.

🔍 Issue Resolution & Conflict Management

  • Lead workplace investigations, advise on disciplinary action when needed, and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace.
  • Act as a liaison between employees, People Leaders, and HR COEs (Centers of Excellence).

🤝 Collaboration with Stakeholders

  • Work with cross-functional partners including:
    • People Business Partners
    • Legal & Compliance
    • Diversity & Inclusion

  • Deliver consistent people experiences through scalable processes and global HR practices.

🔄 Continuous Improvement & Transformation

  • Drive process improvement across people services.
  • Support change management efforts that enhance HR service delivery and employee experience.

🧾 Required Qualifications

🎓 Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience, or
  • 2+ years with an advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in HR, or equivalent)

⭐ Preferred Experience

  • 5–7 years in an HR generalist or HRBP capacity within a global, matrixed environment
  • Experience supporting leadership teams through complex HR issues
  • Hands-on knowledge of U.S. employment law, HRIS tools (e.g., Workday), and performance management systems
