🎯 Job Summary: Release Coordinator – Associate
As a Release Coordinator, you’ll be a vital part of Deutsche Bank’s project delivery and deployment ecosystem. Based in Pune, you’ll take the lead on managing change requests, release schedules, stakeholder communications, and project coordination — ensuring seamless software releases across business-critical applications.
Your role will blend project support, change management, test coordination, and process enhancement while aligning with the bank’s compliance and SDLC practices.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
🔁 Change & Release Management
- Initiate and manage Change Requests for production deployments.
- Ensure quality and compliance across change requests.
- Communicate efficiently with stakeholders, SMEs, vendors, and IT application owners for approvals.
- Prepare and present Change Management meeting sheets.
- Host Change Management meetings to eliminate deployment risks.
🧪 Release Testing
- Coordinate the Release Test Calendar and all associated activities.
- Collaborate with business units on release test tracking and status reporting.
- Ensure complete readiness for production file uploads and job executions.
🔄 SDLC & DevOps Support
- Handle Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) release ID creation and updates.
- Close open verification tasks with SDLC support teams.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities in the release process.
📄 Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and update Test Evaluation Reports.
- Drive release handover documentation for IT owners.
- Maintain operational documentation including monthly operating instructions and transition materials.
🧠 Skills and Experience
✅ Must-Have:
- 1–5 years of project coordination or software release experience.
- Familiarity with Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Hands-on with:
