🧠 Position Overview – What You’ll Do
As an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst, you will play a strategic role in designing and delivering robust data visualization solutions using Qlik Sense and QlikView within Citibank’s technology landscape. You’ll be the go-to expert for data integration, dashboard architecture, and infrastructure setup, helping internal stakeholders visualize key performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
🛠️ Technical Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end Qlik Sense development lifecycle, including capacity planning, infrastructure setup, and environment configuration.
- Manage Single Node and Multimode Cluster Environments for Qlik Sense.
- Plan and execute Qlik Sense deployments across DEV, UAT, COB, and Production environments.
📊 Dashboard & Frontend Development
- Conceptualize and design interactive dashboards and visual interfaces for various departments.
- Create responsive UIs with usability in mind, integrating Qlik Sense extensions and mashups.
🧩 Data Integration & Modeling
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources: Oracle, SQL Server, Flat Files, etc.
- Develop QlikView Data (QVD) files and complex backend queries.
- Apply advanced data normalization and modeling techniques.
🔐 Security & Governance
- Set up authentication and authorization protocols using Qlik Management Console (QMC).
- Establish user access controls, security rules, and entitlements.
🌐 Advanced Qlik Capabilities
- Use Qlik APIs for building custom mashups and widgets.
- Read and create Hypercube content to extract and present data effectively.
- Build web-based applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
🛡️ Maintenance & Support
- Perform regular system updates, migrations, and vendor support transitions.
- Ensure dashboards are efficient, scalable, and secure.
- Resolve performance issues and make enhancements to existing applications.
✅ Must-Have Qualifications
🎓 Education
- Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Programming, Engineering, or related field, plus 6 years of relevant experience.
- OR a Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
🧰 Experience Requirements
Core Experience (All 6–8 Years Must Include):
- QlikView dashboard and analytics development.
- QlikView Data file creation (QVDs), ETL processes, and set analysis.
- Data integration from Oracle, SQL Server, and Flat Files.
- Data modeling and optimization.
- Application deployment and QlikView architecture design.
Specialized (1+ Year Must Include):
- Qlik Sense development and infrastructure setup.
- Multi-node/cluster architecture planning.
- Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database handling.
