As a Payments Processing Analyst, you will be the backbone of timely and accurate processing of all payment-related transactions. This includes handling high-value transactions, physical cash/valuables, managing cash-related investigations, and ensuring all regulatory and compliance standards are met.
The role is time-sensitive and involves coordination with internal teams, external clients, and stakeholders. Attention to detail, quick decision-making, and adherence to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are key to success.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
✅ Payment Processing & Operations
- Handle all types of payment transactions including SWIFT and physical cash/valuables.
- Ensure accurate capture of transaction data and adherence to established SLAs.
- Maintain complete audit trails and comply with payment-related policies.
- Perform end-of-day (EOD) reconciliations, validations, and compliance checks.
- Ensure updates and modifications in internal documentation (KOP) are timely.
- Assist in onboarding and training of new team members.
🚨 Escalation Management
- Identify potential transaction issues and escalate to team managers or supervisors.
- Proactively report exceptional situations for early resolution.
- Follow the internal escalation matrix strictly.
🧩 Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all internal compliance guidelines are followed.
- Work closely with regulatory and audit teams for any process improvements.
- Participate in self-assessment exercises and quality checks.
