🧩 Position Overview: Associate, Account Management (Dallas, TX)

As an Associate in Account Management at KPMG, you’ll play a pivotal role in standardizing account operations, optimizing performance, and supporting key client initiatives. You’ll work across onshore and offshore teams, ensuring seamless integration of tools and processes while maintaining excellence in compliance and reporting.

This role is part of KPMG’s Growth & Strategy organization, focused on accelerating firm-wide transformation and client satisfaction.

✅ Key Responsibilities

🔄 Account Process Management

  • Collaborate with global account teams to standardize operational processes
  • Implement enhancements that ensure compliance with Master Services Agreement (MSA) terms
  • Assist in integrating Vendor Management Systems (VMS) with client processes
  • Utilize firm-approved platforms for pipeline tracking, forecasting, and engagement monitoring

💬 Communication & Risk Mitigation

  • Identify, report, and escalate operational risks
  • Work with senior AMs to resolve complex issues
  • Tailor communications for different stakeholders using sound judgment and critical thinking

🧾 Client Engagement & Onboarding

  • Lead new team onboarding and maintain account-specific documentation
  • Develop and update training and collaboration materials
  • Oversee invoicing lifecycle management

📊 Audits & Reporting

  • Assist in responding to client audits, inquiries, and internal risk assessments
  • Support global program reporting and internal coordination with member firms

📈 Professional Development

  • Actively participate in AM team initiatives
  • Seize learning opportunities and adapt quickly to evolving project needs
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Growth & Strategy division

🎓 Required Qualifications

🧠 Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (mandatory)

💼 Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in business operations, financial/data analysis, or project management

💡 Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Capable of managing multiple projects with efficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools, CRM databases, and VMS platforms is a plus
