💼 Role: Broker TechSupport (Domain Trainee – Insurance Claims)

🧩 Role Overview

As a Broker TechSupport expert at Genpact, you will be the go-to person for resolving client queries, managing the insurance claims lifecycle, and delivering high-quality service to clients in the US Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. You will liaise with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams to support technical processes, train staff, and maintain compliance.

This is an ideal opportunity for professionals who have 2 to 7 years of experience in P&C insurance operations and are passionate about providing value in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation on commercial insurance products, risk strategies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a bridge between clients and team members ensuring accurate updates and timely responses to inquiries.
  • Conduct knowledge sessions and periodic training to strengthen internal team capabilities.
  • Ensure all process documentation is current, and updates are well-communicated across teams.
  • Manage daily client interactions, inquiries, and issue resolution within SLAs.
  • Work with brokers, underwriters, and account executives to obtain data and resolve queries.
  • Implement quality control procedures to reduce errors and improve processing timelines.
  • Lead and conduct monthly knowledge assessments and training needs identification (TNI).
  • Ensure clean, complete, and compliant policy documentation.
  • Handle high workloads efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

🎓 Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate in any stream from a recognized university
  • 2–7 years of relevant experience in the US P&C insurance lifecycle (pre-placement to post-placement activities)
  • Excellent command of English – both verbal and written (email writing is key)
  • Ability to multi-task, work under deadlines, and manage multiple prioritie

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

  • Insurance certification (e.g., AINS, CPCU, or equivalent) is an advantage
  • Awareness of US P&C regulations and insurance procedures
  • Strong knowledge in:
    • Policy issuance and administration
    • Endorsement processing
    • Licensing, quoting, surplus lines
    • Agency admin and inspections
  • Advanced MS Office proficiency – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote
  • Strong team player, with leadership qualities and ability to work independently
  • Experience in working with Brokers and Underwriters in US markets
  • Client-focused with relationship-building skills
