Role Overview
As a Marketing Analyst at American Express, you will be part of the US Consumer Services team, where you will be responsible for analyzing consumer data to uncover growth opportunities and improve performance across the business. You will also have the chance to influence key marketing initiatives that are integral to the strategic direction of American Express’ consumer products, services, and experiences.

Your primary responsibilities as a Marketing Analyst at American Express will include:

A significant aspect of this role will involve analyzing data and leveraging insights to identify growth opportunities. You will work closely with teams across American Express to understand customer behavior and use this information to improve marketing strategies and tactics. A large part of your role will be focused on understanding customer behavior in the context of the broader consumer products landscape. You will be expected to develop performance indicators (KPIs) that will help the company assess and measure how well its marketing strategies are resonating with customers. By understanding the motivations behind customer decisions, you will be able to guide decision-making processes and provide actionable insights.

You will help drive the development of digital marketing strategies by identifying new and emerging digital products and services that could be beneficial for American Express. Part of your role will include conducting cost-benefit analyses for new opportunities that come up in the marketing space. As a Marketing Analyst, you will be expected to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across American Express. This includes working with internal departments, such as creative, content strategy, and business development, as well as collaborating with external partners, vendors, and agencies. Strong relationships will help ensure that marketing campaigns are executed effectively and on schedule.

A core part of your responsibilities will be managing end-to-end marketing campaigns. This will involve overseeing all phases of campaign development, from conceptualization and planning to execution and optimization.
