Role Overview
As an Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting key functions within the Private Banking division. This hybrid position requires strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs). Proficiency in the German language is a key requirement, enabling effective collaboration with onshore teams and clients.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing account freeze/unfreeze requests and ensuring accurate processing.
- Conducting performance research to identify debtors and creditors, ensuring proper documentation.
- Performing complex calculations for payment processing with understanding of the SEPA system.
- Validating and updating client signatures in line with policy.
- Liaising with onshore colleagues and clients in Germany in fluent German.
- Resolving discrepancies, escalating issues as necessary, and ensuring SLA compliance.
- Supporting peers and acting as a backup when required.
- Participating in special projects and additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills & Experience
- Language Proficiency: German language certification from Goethe/Max Mueller Bhavan (B1 to C2).
- Work Experience: 2–4 years in a German-language process in a similar role.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in multiple or rotational shifts.
