Job Description:
Tata Technologies, a global leader in engineering and design services, is seeking a highly motivated Associate – Innovation Culture to drive innovation across the organization. This role involves designing and executing innovation programs, managing idea management systems, and leading hackathons to cultivate a culture of creativity and technological advancement.
Key Responsibilities:

Organizing Internal Hackathons & Innovation Challenges
- Plan, coordinate, and execute internal hackathons to foster a culture of creativity and problem-solving.
- Engage with employees at all levels to encourage participation and idea generation.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, scheduling, and coordination with stakeholders.
- Develop challenge themes aligned with company goals and industry trends.
- Evaluate the impact of hackathons by measuring participation rates, project outcomes, and post-event feedback.

Managing the Idea Management System
- Oversee the company’s digital platform for idea submission, tracking, and evaluation.
- Ensure that innovative ideas are captured, reviewed, and implemented effectively.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess feasibility and business value.
- Track and analyze key innovation metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain a transparent and structured process for idea submission and evaluation.

Driving Cross-Department Collaboration for Innovation
- Work with various departments to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements.
- Support teams in integrating innovative practices into daily operations.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops to inspire out-of-the-box thinking.
- Provide guidance on best practices for implementing new ideas within existing workflows.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration to accelerate innovation adoption.

Leading and Managing High-Impact Innovation Projects
- Take ownership of end-to-end execution of innovation projects from ideation to implementation.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and key deliverables.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Identify potential roadblocks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to leadership teams.

Tracking, Attainment, and Reporting of Innovation KPIs
- Establish clear metrics to measure the success of innovation initiatives.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to participation, idea implementation, and business impact.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
- Use data insights to refine and enhance innovation strategies.
- Benchmark Tata Technologies’ innovation performance against industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
- Graduate degree in Innovation Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines is a plus.
Experience Requirements:
- 2-3 years of overall work experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in organizing hackathons and managing idea management systems.
- Prior experience in Automotive Engineering Services, IT Services, or Automotive Technology is highly desirable.

- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and prioritize innovation opportunities.
- Knowledge of intellectual property (IP) rights and patent filing is a plus.
