About the Role
Accenture is seeking a highly skilled Record to Report Ops Specialist to join their Finance Operations vertical. This role focuses on financial consolidation, reconciliation, and month-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial consolidation and close operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage general ledger processes including year-end closing, journalizing, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare and review P&L accounts, identifying errors, omissions, and inconsistencies.
- Conduct cash flow forecasting and support month-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives such as automation and enhanced controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting operations.
- Utilize financial software tools and automation solutions for enhanced reporting.

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (BCom/MCom) or Chartered Accountant (CA).

- Expertise in record to report (R2R) processes.
- Strong knowledge of financial consolidation and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros).
- Experience in automation, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Understanding of current technologies in the R2R domain.
